We have a potentially sick eMac in our office. Our IT support contractors don't support Macs (shock) (which is, of course, why it was bought without checking the contract details). Do we have anyone out there who would be able to provide a quote for looking at it on a professional basis (bearing in mind that we are an impecunious charity). Don't yet know what's supposed to be wrong with it, as our manic Media Person has just dashed past muttering about it, so I thought I'd try to get ahead of the game. Apparently it's (and I quote) "set up really oddly", although personally I reckon that our graphic designer (who, naturally, did the set up) knew what he was doing. No guarantee of any work, but I just need to have a ballpark figure. Probably either an hourly or daily rate (at least for the initial boot through screen stage).
