Just received a job application for one of the assorted posts we're advertising. Our policy is application by application form only (so we send them out). You are allowed to add an additional sheet should your personal statement thing over-run ... and some muppet has sent in a form, in each space of which they seem to have written "See attached CV". They have, at least, attached the CV, but we don't do CVs. Don't think they're getting the job, somehow.

(Someone else send a CV and covering letter - we'll be sending them a form - even though the CV and covering letter refer to a vacancy at MIND. Which isn't the best one we've had - once got a job app which was for a completely different vacancy at a completely different organisation. They'd obviously just switched the envelopes. [grin])

If you haven't yet had a chance to complain about my album covers quiz being too abstruse and challenging, please pop along (via the handy link above), and have a go (and post a comment so that I know you've had a punt).

(Behind the cut below, the images are linked from the answer text, rather than being plced in line, for those evil souls who browse from work.)

But, for the brave and foolhardy ...  )

OK, if you really only want the results... )

Congratulations to everyone who even got a point, insufficiently hampered by my dodgy choices or poor descriptions! I'm currently working on a lyrics quiz, so it's probably time to unfriend this journal before I post that one ... [grin]

If people aren't going to watch [livejournal.com profile] tallarn in Brentford on Wednesday night, then the Higher Education Project (which [livejournal.com profile] littleangel_103 used to run)1 Southwark Gifted and Talented Programme Enrichment Courses will be performing MacBeth. In a graveyard. [grin]

So, if you're in Southwark and at a loose end tomorrow eve, get thee along to St Peter's Church, Liverpool Grove for 6pm, and see what a week's drama work looks like. In a graveyard.

1 I stand sit corrected.
