[Photo] Why squirrels are annoying.

A few weeks ago in Bury St Edmunds, there was a squirrel that, notwithstanding its status as a rat with good PR, sat and posed for the camera. Like this.

It then bounded joyfully towards me, and sat a few feet away, posing again, while I refocussed. And then it did this as I pressed the shutter button.

Bah.

[Gigs] New Model Army @ Astoria, 20/12/07

Feeling drained after a stressful day of work, I put on my grebo garb and headed off to the environs of TCR for the gig, and to distribute tickets. Headed to the new Insipid Fox to pass on tickets to misterfallen and sweetcyanide (who had taken the place of the sickbed-ridden black_faery), say hi to duoinchains and evangeline2670 outside, and then off to get some more money out, grab some food, and meet up with redshira to pass on her ticket. Then into the venue, to chat to Ziggy, Tess, Verity, ephemera, capt_prickle, pensive_mary and various others.

As is traditional with the Army following, the space filled up soon after the support left the stage, as people arrived from local hostelries, and people started to spot familiar faces from other venues and other tours.

Not the best Army gig I've been to, but definitely a good one.

Also, duoinchains's 100th. Ziggy lost count somewhere around the 80 mark, but reckons he's in the 120s. It was magfish's 302nd, which is a whole other league ...
