[Photos] 2009 08 09 Staunton Country Park

Last month I went down to Hampshire to take some snaps of Jez during the last months of her pregnancy. We met up at Staunton Country Park, which features an octagonal gothic library (which used to be attached to a Georgian mansion (now gone)) and the terrace which used to run along the front of the later Victorian mansion (pulled down just after the war, apparently due to a bill for repairing the roof). There's also assorted animals, a glasshouse, a cafe and garden shop, a very small maze, some nice woodland, a lake and a couple of follies. Photos of the park are in the gallery below.
