First set of the New Year, this time for a community event with secondary elements of birthday celebration. The Cavendish Arms in Stockwell is a short stroll from public transport, and features a comfortable, sofa-filled, main bar area, with a back room that is properly set up for comedy, bands, cabaret, and the like, with a small stage, PA, XLR patch-bay and so on - so we set up a pair of trestles on the stage and got to it. The evening's music was split between me and DJ Frabjous (aka Katy and Lucy) who have also DJ'd for BiCon previously. The first part of the evening was quiet(ish) music to entertain while people arrived and ate (the pub serves rather good pizzas), steadily building up to music to dance to.

It seemed to go pretty well, and there are faint thoughts of doing it again as a public event ...
