I can't imagine how heavy that thing would be. My neck is twinging just thinking about it.

I still prefer the Distortocaster. Motorhead have used one live. Rock'n'roll or what?

A while back, I read an interview with Christopher Guest (of Spinal Tap), and apparently he got so fed up with rock stars coming up to him, nudging him in the ribs and saying ``I've had an amplifier made which goes up to eleven! Haha!'' that he had one built which goes up to infinity - the volume knob just goes round and round and doesn't do anything.

(It was in the same interview that I learned that he's actually a peer of the realm - he inherited the title of Baron Haden-Guest from his father, and sat in the House of Lords for about a year until most of the hereditary peers were removed. He says his title has never been much of a benefit to him, although his wife says she finds it easier to get restaurant table reservations as Lady Haden-Guest than as plain old Jamie Lee Curtis.)

Where's the triple headed bass guitar to go with it?

And what would be the drumming equivalent, I wonder? 3 bass drums?

Hmm. THat be a posh Steve Vai one-off then.
If you want them more affordable you can buy them from ebay quite frequently:

This one is a 12 string, a 7 string and a 6 string all in one.
How sad is that?
