As per this communique from the B-Movie Sound System, B-Movie and Water Rats have parted company. The crew are still planning to do something on March 9th, but as yet the location is unspecified.

I wonder whether it'll be a "meet at this location and follow the technicolour Transit to a warehouse" event? [grin]

Please spread the word, for, as [livejournal.com profile] sexbat put it:
In the mean time, if you can help to spread the word that we're moving venues as it would be a shame if people turned up at the Water Rats expecting B-Movie and ended up paying 7 quid for a rather insipid night in the company of people who consdier Coldplay to be the epitome of rock'n'roll.
Hell, it's only the second venue move in the history of B-Movie. Other clubs have been far more peripatetic!

Possibly.

In brief, it would appear that they are intending to target the live music market, and no longer want successful club nights taking up their evening slots.

B-movie warehouse party?? I'd be up for that.

I suspect that is, at the moment, merely a fever-dream ...

if you dream it... ( find a venue, run the night, advertise, sort security, get a licence, get the sound system, the website, the staff)...it will happen.
