[Poll] The Whitby Poll ...

It's the week of Whitby, so you know what that means ...

[Poll #1075446]

Please note - mentioning of a venue/evening combination is no guarantee that there's anything going on there - I have no clue, as per usual.

Are you going for the Whitby Goth Weekend, or just happen to coincide?

This is not a yes/no question! But I clicked before I noticed, and my answer means that I'm there for the goths :D

No tickets and no accommodation this year, but I'm still taking the week off work - in order to put the engine back in my twin turbo Subaru.

So we'll drive up to Whitby on Saturday morning, have lunch somewhere, and maybe tea, then drive home again. I'll give you a ring on your mobile when we're there and I think you'll actually be awake and out of the house (about 4pm then).

[grin] Never said I was any good at poll design!

The last question should have been a check box rather than a radio, too ...

Bah. We're usually up by lunchtime, at least! [grin] And, given that we'll need to get into town, if you see the car in Sleights, give us a bell to wake us up! [grin]

Being a pedantic cow I would have to say that my answer to no.1 should possibly be no. I am going to Whitby on Wednesday not at the weekend. That also means that there is another tickybox for Wednesday night missing ;oP

:p

Anyway, I'm shellfish (or some other crustacean) and not getting there until Thursday evening. The Thursday and Tuesday daytime questions were bonuses anyway! [grin]

Any one who wants to join us is more than welcome... I have plenty spaces/tickets avaliable... just let me know, also if you can drive/split a car let me know that too!!

Apart from the footie, I have very little idea about when & where ANYTHING is.

Being egg-shaped & full of bloody baby (I know, shouldn't have eaten a whole one, ha-ha) I won't be dancing the night away every night, I'll be bopping gently from my seat at the '80's night.

I'll be found drifting between pubs & stall, depending on how much energy I have in the daytime, puttering around on the beach, hanging out with people in any warmish spot.

Any suggestions of what I could go to on what days/evenings would be greatly appreciated!

You're staying in Sleights too**? Shall keep an eye out for your mad crazy car and wave!

** There's a possibility that we're not actually staying in Sleights and I'm just completely losing my mind!

Me going

I will be doing the usual- Whiskey in the Little A, Elsinore then beer at the Spa for a couple of the bands Friday. Thinking of going to the Met too on Saturday. I intend to orbit round everywhere!

haven't made any plans for the evenings yet, will just go along where our friends will go (not to the Spa though, we never bother to buy tickets these days, unless we fancy to see any of the bands)
