Just some photos from around Whitby when I was up there for Whitby Goth Weekend (including a number from a rather chilly time with a tripod up by the Whalebones).
Thanks! Fun with trying to line up Abbey, whalebones, full moon and tripod ... and then get a non-blurred shot ... As you can tell, I gave up on a couple of them, and just went for a couple of the ingredients ...
With these photos, the answer was ... find a night when the moon is bright. [grin] The problem is that a bright moon will actually be a lot brighter than most other things in shot, hence a tendency to be an over-exposed white circle ...
