Well, that was fun - something just tripped a fuse in one of the four-ways in our office1, and successfully switched off the server and the ADSL hub ... Nothing like a quick bit of diving behing a switcher cabinet for boosting the adrenaline.
1 Actually, not sure whether it was the 4way or the socket. Time for some investigation, because the water-cooler did seem to emit a pop and an odd smell, but doesn't appear to be on the same 4way - although given the way that extension cables run behind filing cabinets in this place, it's pretty hard to tell - think of the plumbing in Brasil
