Meanwhile, I am currently enculturing myself (I'm sure that's a participle) by watching Matthew Bourne's Nutcracker from 2022. I accidentally caught a few minutes of it when it was broadcast on BBC4 in November, and set the box to record it on next showing. The physical portrayal of characterisation is excellent.
