For those of you in London, The Dreaming, the theatre group that [livejournal.com profile] tallarn is part of are staging
Robert Rankin's The Antipope

and
Terry Pratchett's Eric

The venue is the Waterman Arts Centre, in Brentford. And no, I don't really know where that is.

I am attempting to assist [livejournal.com profile] littleangel_103 in the cat-herding required to get a group of us to the Antipope showing on 7th April (featuring special guest appearance), and possibly Eric on either 8th or 9th April. See the poll below to express interest, and possible choice of date. We need to know by 19th April to do the ticket booking. Tickets are about £15 each, or £12 for students, OAPs, or munchkins (under 14), but proof will be needed. We may be able to get this reduced due to group booking.

[Poll #263261]
1 The Eric trip will probably be arranged for whichever evening is most popular, rather than going to both, so if you can go to either, tick both to indicate the combination of availability and desire.
Anyone dropping out will still be charged for their ticket, and may have internal organs removed to make up any shortfall.

For those outside London, they are actually touring with these (including York, where the troupe are based), so check their website for tour dates.

Definitely the last post for today. [readies bugle]

I already have tickets for Antipope on 7 April, so i will see you there.

Actually, I have *spare* tickets, so let me know before you book? Might be able to use the ones I have. I just bought some and figured I could shift them later.

There is also apparently a discount for tickets booked together for both shows. So if we can get even numbers (even if the people differ) we can also save some money.

Brentford is, of course, East of Ealing.

There will be a group of us (or at least me) heading over from Waterloo if company helps. I can even be trusted to buy tickets and carry a large stripey umbrella if needs be so no-one gets lost. I am sure [livejournal.com profile] d_floorlandmine might be going that way too!

Many many thanks to the two of you for organising this! Anyone that can hang around afterwards will no doubt Meet the Cast and Share A Drink with us - we're going to need it!

Looking forward to seeing all who can make it.

[sound of running footsteps in far distance]
[sound of wind whistling over the plain, interupted only by the susurrations of the grass, and the odd bit of tumbleweed]
