I took MineBringer to the insurance-designated bodywork people ... by some strange quirk of fate, they're an official, authorised BMW bodywork shop. Thank you, Fate, given that it was a BMW that decided to use the wing of the MineBringer as an impromptu parking distance sensor.

Should be getting the estimate through in the post once he's working it out, so no news as yet ...
