There is a guy on the London tube who you might have seen. He has a megaphone and stands at Oxford Circus or Victoria.

When he is travelling home he wanders the carriages, using his megaphone to ask people if they have "found Christ".

I responded that I had. He was down the back of the sofa.

That seemed to make him go away.

I found that very satisfying indeed.

In the film "Jeffrey", a (gay, natch) priest played by Nathan Lane explains how God's presence is evident in old show tunes. But that Andrew Lloyd Webber is evil. He ends the scene by singing "Everything's Coming up Roses" in a scarily accurate impersonation of Ethel Merman...

I love that film! Patrick Stewart heading up a gay vigilante group called (obviously) The Pink Panthers.

Indeed - it's certainly one of my favourites. Written by the same guy who did "In and Out" - but it's far better.

That film is wonderful.

And you wonder why people would assume that you're not straight?

My dear, that sort of gender stereotyping is SO dated.
