[Music] MVC now has a "second hand" section ...

Which has previously provided me with Barry Adamson's The King of Nothing Hill, and, more recently, with NOW 10 and an 80s double album for £3 apiece ... [grin] Bouncy goodness!

Bouncy goodness? Where?

Oh. Sorry. MUSICAL bouncy goodness.

*cough*

Oooh, 80s double albums!

Indeed - now listening to M/A/R/R/S Pump Up The Volume, with the delights of Paul Hardcastle's 19 next ...

*thinks*

That isn't the Smash Hits 'Best of the 80s' one, is it?

[identity profile] d-floorlandmine.livejournal.com 2004-10-15 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
[grin] Not that I can see - doesn't seem to have the Smash Hits branding anywhere on it. But they do tend to have some crossover, and often the same tracklisting ... M/A/R/R/S are on both "The 80s" and "Now 10" ...

Does it have pigs in sunglasses on it or is that something else?

[identity profile] d-floorlandmine.livejournal.com 2004-10-14 08:24 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm ... I think that was the earlier NOW albums ... this one has the "NOW ..." flash, but no pigs. Sorry!

Good stuff - I think that's Adamson's best since Moss Side Story.

It is definitely a great album - especially when driving through almost empty city streets in the rain ...

What a lovely idea...leather driving gloves? :)

[identity profile] d-floorlandmine.livejournal.com 2004-10-14 08:32 am (UTC)(link)
Now, don't start that again! [grin]

Anyway, aren't driving gloves somewhat seventies? Even if they are leather ...

[identity profile] cookwitch.livejournal.com 2004-10-14 08:36 am (UTC)(link)
That all depends on

a) Who's doing the driving and
b) what music is playing...

anyway - 70s again? We're back to the shag pile aren't we?

*chuckle*

Thought you'd appreciate that.

*smooch*
