I've always wanted to see Dreadzone - I'm there! I'll probably end up going on my own so if there is a Croydon contingent going it would be cool to meet up for drinks

I saw Dreadzone supporting The Levellers at Brixton, but I suspect the open air may suit them better. I'll let you know if I'm going.

As for Beanos, I knew it would be closing soon, but the sudden closure through the sale of all remaining stock to one dealer was a bit of a surprise. I'd been planning on a rummage on Saturday myself! [grin]

I really wanted to go to that gig but was away running a conference somewhere far up north. My plans for final reminscing about my teenage years looking for cheap goodness have been cruelly foiled.

It was a bit of a shock to David, I suspect - they got a rather good offer for "all your remaining stock" from another dealer, and so, with no stock left, they decided it was actually time to close. They're now working on building "the best Undercover Market this side of Marrakech".
