Bit of an odd one, this - taken in Devonshire Square, on my way through to Liverpool Street from work. There are three, fundamentally dead, tree trunks between the buildings, surrounded by low seats. Hidden by the seats are green floodlights, which cast an unearthly light up the trunks.

I took a couple from a distance, but I didn't have my monopod to hand and could't get a non-blurred photo of all three of them. So this one was taken with the camera flat on its back on the seat next to one of the trees ... I might well go back at some point with the EOS and the f/1.8 lens ...

Ooh - that's spooky. With the green colour, it could almost be underwater. Strangely devoid of scale too, because you've got the branches in sharp focus, they could be twigs.

Like it.
