A party political broadcast on behalf of not-the-BNP ...
"In the upcoming elections in the UK, the far-right party the BNP are pushing for an unprecedented number of seats, and are possibly going to win some of them. They need 8% of the vote. This means that the more people that vote in the elections, the less chance the fascist BNP have of getting in.

Some of you have LJ's and other blogs that are read by a lot of people. Please - it takes a few minutes only to just copy and paste this post into your own blog and make sure the message gets out. It doesn't take long to vote, and I'm not asking you to vote for any particular party that you might not have a high opinion of at the moment. Just vote for someone and stop the BNP."
Proviso - personally, I'm not that keen on the Christian Party, though - they may not be the BNP, but they've got a fairly high proportion of policies that I find unpalatable, even so.

They sent a canvasser around yesterday, thankfully both me and my wife were unable to attend the canvassing, as that may, possibly, have ended up with a smack in the face (note to BNP canvassers, speaking ill of immigrants in a household that is 100% immigrant is Not The Smartest Thing In The World).
