dancefloorlandmine: Me hiding behind camera (CameraEOS)

Well, I could go out and take photos of the snow, but, to be honest, I'm just not that dedicated a photographer. It's nice and warm in my flat, and I'm wearing shorts and a Norge that's about twenty years old, and it looks like it's bloody cold out there. So instead I'm going to unload the washing machine and go to bed, and tomorrow I will see what the weather has brought.

Edit: That said, I did just turn all the lights off and take some photos of my garden from the kitchen window ... and then popped to the front door and took a couple of photos of the street from the threshold. It's not actually as cold as it looks, as long as you're out of the wind. Barefoot, though, I wasn't going to actually step outside.

... one of your friends sends you a text telling you that someone has stolen their snowman ...

They made it last night, looked out an hour later ... no snowman. [grin]

I'm afraid that, like just about everyone else, I was taking photos of the snow last night and today. Sorry about that (the fact that I'm posting some more photos of the snow, which you're probably all sick of by now, rather than the fact of the snow, which I didn't have anything to do with).

There's something about the combination of snow, the lighting, and the shallow depth of focus of the lens gave a strangely model-like effect. I felt a bit like Gil Grissom.
