While channel-flipping, I chanced upon Sheriff Bouffant Orange-Skin (Retired), the narrator of Most Banal Commentaries for Police Video, who, during the "Tank loose in San Diego" clip, continually referred to "military tanks". I knew that the American passion for SUVs had led to a civilian Hummer, but does that mean that they now have "civilian tanks" as well? Where can I get one? And how many miles to the gallon does it do?

(I'll avoid the traditional "Where could I park one?""Anywhere you like" joke - well, at least in the main body of this post.)
