Apparently, when my hair is all big (following hair-drying courtesy of London Underground), I resemble the Cowardly Lion out of The Wizard of Oz. I'm now not talking to my colleagues. As the phones are currently down at work, I'm not talking to anyone.

Their bottoms are indeed "made out of springs", but the most important thing is that "their tops are made out of rubber".
