Tex just got given his P45 after a few months of not being paid by his firm. Don't ask. Anyway.

Do any of you have good IT agencies that you can recommend please?

Anyone need a first and second line support engineer? Tall, good looking, quiet....*smile*

CV available from me [livejournal.com profile] cookwitch.
His former employers have demonstrated a whole new concept in employee-deep-ending¹, so if you know of any possibilities, please comment below or visit [livejournal.com profile] cookwitch's post. Thanks.

I know we're planning on taking on another Developer and another Systems / Support person sometime this year, but not sure when, though Basingstoke might be a little too far to commute.

I had the best results when looking for jobs from
cwjobs.co.uk
jobsearch.co.uk
jobsite.co.uk

Yes, Basingstoke is a little too far from Essex. :) Thank you for the recommendations though!

I'd offer to look at my company, but I somehow doubt he'd want to work for a MH charity, what with your tales of woe.

cityjobs.co.uk or jobsite.co.uk are probably pretty good ones to look at, as well as (I think) http://www.theitjobboard.co.uk/ (although I've not really looked at the latter, being a finance/admin bod). cityjobs and jobsite are pretty much one and the same, and I know they have a good range of IT type stuff, because the odd cross-discipline role pops up in my e-mail search results (oddly enough, I had something for a 1st line support person today. It was basic enough that I could do it though, so I doubt he'd be interested)

Hon, look anyway. It can't be worse than where he's been!
